Started learning Irish (Gaeilge) before Round Ireland with a Duck (there are actually 40 Irish words and their translations in the book). It’s a long, slow process, and I hear being older doesn’t help. I’m spending like five hours a day on it, and luckily I can do a lot of that while traveling at the speed of bike (which I do daily as my primary transportation). 

In order to get more practice speaking (in addition to the various conversation circles and classes I’m in), I’ve started weaving it into my TikToks (reposted on Instagram) and am sharing some of the resources that are helping me learn. Check ‘em out, and follow, if interested.
