I’m packed and ready to go (folding bike, Amtrak ticket, the works), and my color scheme be schemin’! Even my little farmer thumbs are green!
One hundred years ago right now, my Irish grandfather was on a ship crossing the Atlantic Ocean on his way to Ellis Island. I’ll be there in just a few days, on the exact anniversary of when he arrived — just as I was seven months ago on the exact 100th anniversary of when my grandmother arrived (that’s in the final chapter of my new book, Round Ireland with a Duck). This time, I’ll have the book itself with me. Done. Complete. Full circle. Bridge to the past. Gift to the future. Legacy fulfilled. And yet with so many questions about life in general for you, Irish or not, that will make you linger.
If you haven’t read my book, I think you will love it. Read what others have thought about it! (Not the toilet paper guy, lol.) You may also enjoy this podcast. If you have read it and loved it, it would be super helpful if you left a review on Amazon and Goodreads (you can just copy and paste from one to the other). I’m an indie author and your support is greatly appreciated.
