With my bike leaned against a tree in the public park, I sat in the hammock I had dragged across the USA (reminding me of my hangs especially in North Carolina, Kansas and Utah) as Jennifer Ross interviewed me for her excellent podcast The Agri-Tourist. You can have a listen here or wherever you get your podcasts.

Jen used to have a small farm named HeartBeet Farms and is working her way back to farming — specifically agri-tourism, which is a business model that invites the public onto your farm through education, entertainment, or other immersive sales activities — now that her youngest child is finishing high school.

I’ve now listened to —and thoroughly enjoyed — every single one of her twenty or so diverse episodes, and I had a particularly enjoyable time talking with her about Round America with a Duck — and more. We’re both from Long Island, New York; we both worked at Waldbaum’s Supermarket :). Maybe someday we’ll even WWOOF together (along with Lisa Munniksma, who interviewed me while ago for Hobby Farms’ podcast, Growing Good).

Thanks, Jen.
