A 1960s-child (now a married mother-of-two) about to turn 60 travels 10,000 miles/16,100 kilometers via bike, buses, trains and WWOOFing, working more than 500 hours on organic farms in exchange for food and shelter. And then she does it again — 40 days, 150 volunteer farms hours, at age 61 — across the land of her ancestors during the 100th-anniversary-year of when they left there for US soil.
